Markham’s Canada Day Celebrations on July 1, 2010 at Milne Park from 3.00 p.m. onwards…

Come and enjoy a variety of Live entertainments, food, displays, Children’s Activities, People’s Parade. Flag Hoisting Ceremony, singing of O’ Canada, Fireworks and much more…

ACTIVITIES
3:00 - 10:00 p.m.	Live entertainment, food and displays
3:00-6:00 p.m.	FREE children’s activities - Face painting, Magician and more
3:00 p.m.	People’s Parade Participants – Children can decorate their bikes & wagons, paint their faces, dress up, and join the parade. Participants meet at 3:00 p.m. in the southeast corner of Markville Shopping Centre.
4:00 p.m. SHARP	People’s Parade - Highway 7 & McCowan Road to Milne Park Enjoy colourful floats, dancers, entertainers and much more.
4:30 p.m.	Flag raising ceremony and singing of O’ Canada
Dusk	Fireworks display
(Approx. 10 p.m.)	(No Unauthorized Fireworks allowed)

DIRECTIONS

Milne Park

• Located on the east side of McCowan Rd., south of Hwy. 7
• FREE Shuttle buses from Markville Shopping Centre to Milne Park
• (Pick-up at the southeast corner bus stop.)
• 12:00 p.m. -3:45p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – midnight
• No Public Parking at Milne Park
